Kananos, John
Historian of an account of the unsuccessful siege of Constantinople (q.v.) in 1422 by Murad II (q.v.). Written in a colloquial style, in the form of an essay, the account is surprisingly detailed in its description of events and precise in its chronology (q.v.).
